Which stage are you at with your business? Registered and running for less than a year.
What’s spurred you into starting your own business?
I wanted to start my own business to encompass all of my creativity and to showcase my illustrations too. I have only started drawing again in the first lockdown after many years.
How did you come up with your business idea?
My business idea came about as I wanted to offer beautiful handcrafted and illustrated cards to consumers.
How has Startup Peterborough helped your planning / business?
I have found the boot camp sessions extremely informative. There has been a mixture of local businesses who have given their valuable knowledge in their presentations and offered a Q & A too.
What have been the biggest challenges you’ve overcome in setting up and running your own company?
Setting up a company has many different challenges but I have been able to speak with Tracy, James & Liz for advice. Everyone on the team has been so supportive, including Rebecca and Katrina. I am so pleased that I was given the opportunity to attend. I would encourage anyone who is thinking of or has started a new business to book onto these sessions.
