1. How much is membership to the Bondholder Network?
£100+VAT for a 12 month subscription for businesses and £80+VAT for charities.
2. Does my business have to be based in Peterborough to join?
No, it doesn’t matter where you’re based. If you’re interested in Peterborough, want to be part of its success and celebrate the city’s growth, we’re happy for any organisation to join.
3. Are there any restrictions on the number of businesses from a particular sector that can join the Bondholder Network?
We have no membership restrictions based on sector or specialism. Opportunity Peterborough works with all companies operating in Peterborough so our Network is open to any company with an interest in seeing the city succeed.
4. How do I renew?
The primary user in your account will receive a notification 30 days and 7 days before your membership end date.
If you’d like to renew your membership go to ‘Edit Membership’ in the portal and fill in your details to confirm the renewal. You can renew earlier than 30 days prior if you wish to attend a Breakfast event that will fall within your next year’s annual membership dates.
5. How do I sign up for the monthly newsletter?
As part of your membership you can subscribe to our exclusive monthly newsletter. You can have as many subscribers as you like from within your organisation.
You can subscribe yourself and colleagues in the portal. Go to ‘Edit Company Delegates’ on the top menu, scroll down past your current delegates and select ‘Add Another User’. Make sure the ‘Receive News’ option is set to ‘Yes’ and click ‘Save’.
6. Who can attend Bondholder Breakfast events?
Bondholder Breakfasts are exclusively for members of the Bondholder Network. The content of the breakfasts is most beneficial for senior team members and / or decision makers.
7. Do I have to pay to attend a Bondholder Breakfast?
Attendance is free of charge for members of the Bondholder Network.
8. Is there a limit on how many people can attend a Bondholder Breakfast from one organisation?
With a standard membership you can send up to two delegates to each Breakfast. You can have more places available for £50 per person and these extra places will be available for the duration of your current year’s membership.
You can add more places in the Bondholder portal. Just go to ‘Edit Membership’ on the top menu and select the relevant membership option.
9. Do the same people have to attend each breakfast?
You can send different members of staff each time. This way, your team can benefit from the most relevant speakers and topics.
10. Is there a penalty for not attending a Bondholder Breakfast?
We understand that schedules are busy and can change at the last minute so if you’ve booked but can no longer attend we just ask that you let us know as far in advance as possible, or find a colleague to take your place.
To make the most of your membership we encourage members to attend as many Breakfast events as possible but if there is no one in attendance from your organisation we will not penalise you.
Occasionally, some speakers’ presentations will not be available for distribution after a Breakfast so we encourage attendance where possible.
Bondholder Portal User Guide
11. Is there a limit to how many news articles, events and job vacancies I can post?
No, it’s entirely up to you to decide how often you want to use these features. There are no word count restrictions.
12. How can I change my company’s logo and directory profile?
You can edit your company’s information in the portal by going to ‘Edit Company Details’ in the top menu. To edit your profile and logo, click on the ‘Company Profile’ tab.
13. Can I subscribe more colleagues to receive the newsletter?
Yes, there is no limit to the number of newsletter subscribers your organisation can have. Just go to ‘edit company delegates’ in the portal.
14. How many portal users can my organisation have?
As many as you like. Some organisations find it easier to have one person managing their account but it’s entirely up to you.
To give a colleague access to the portal make sure they’re listed as a delegate in ‘Edit Company Delegates’ and that the ‘Access Dashboard’ box is set to ‘Yes’. This will automatically send the user an invitation to set up their own password.
Please note that your account can only have one primary user – this person will receive membership renewal notifications, invoices and be the main point of contact for Opportunity Peterborough. You can change this at any time.
15. I can’t log in?
If you can’t remember your password please use the forgotten password link on the log in page. Your email address is your username.
If your email address is not recognised, please ask a colleague with access to the portal to add you as a delegate with access to the dashboard (see Q13).

Leaving the Network
16. Is there a cancellation fee?
You can cancel your membership within the 7 days before or 7 days after your membership renewal / start date free of charge provided you have not used any benefits (e.g. uploaded content, attended a Breakfast, etc). After this we charge a £25 administration fee.
