Waldeck’s Peterborough office, which has quadrupled in size over the past four years, is expanding once again!

The Priestgate branch, which first opened in 2007 with just three members of staff, is relocating to bigger premises on Cross Street and recruiting three additional designers taking its total number of employees up to 20.

Waldeck is also moving it’s new Mechanical and Engineering Consultancy Department from the company’s head office in Sleaford to the new office in Cross Street Court.

Commitment to creativity
Director Paul Housego explained “Despite the difficult economic climate Waldeck has continued to grow year on year and the Peterborough office has played a major role in company’s achievements to date.

We are currently working on some major projects including a £210 million Ocado distribution centre in Dordon, North Warwickshire and an £11 million extension to the Queensgate Shopping Centre in Peterborough which will house retail giant Primark’s new 60,000 ft² store.

“Our success over of the past four years is partly due to Waldeck’s commitment to creativity and its ability to deliver innovative yet commercially viable design solutions but it is also down to the people who work here.

“The fact that we are expanding once again is testament to their hard work and passion and I’d like to thank my team and our clients as without them we wouldn’t have a business in the first place.”

Frozen & Chilled Foods Show
As well as moving to their new office on 26th August, Waldeck will also be exhibiting at the first ever Frozen & Chilled Foods Show 2011 at the EXEC in Peterborough on 14th and 15th September and Paul is keen for anyone involved in the food or logistics industry to get in touch.
