Volunteer in the New Year and make a difference in your local community
Volunteer in the New Year and make a difference in your local community

YMCA Cambridgeshire & Peterborough is calling on local business to encourage their employees to volunteer their time and make a difference to their local community as we start the New Year.

Prospective volunteers could get involved in fundraising, retail, health and fitness or appropriate adult volunteering.

Prior experience is not needed, but anyone who’s interested in volunteering with the charity should be welcoming to people from all walks of life and keen to inspire others to reach their full potential.

Jonathan Martin, YMCA Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Chief Executive, said:

“Regardless if you have little or loads of time to spare, there are many different ways to get involved at your local YMCA. We have various different options to suit everyone’s needs.

“Volunteering is a great way to learn new skills, build new friendships and do some good at the same time, so why not come and join us at YMCA Cambridgeshire & Peterborough in 2017?”

If you or your team are interested in volunteering with YMCA Cambridgeshire & Peterborough in 2017 please contact Verity Swinscoe, Tel: 01733 373188 or Email: fundraising@theymca.org.uk.
