The Croft To Host Information Day For Homebuyers Struggling To Sell Their Existing Home

The Croft (www.thecroftbourne.co.uk), a lifestyle living community for the over 55’s in Bourne, is inviting homebuyers who are looking to move home but are struggling to sell their existing property to attend a special information day on Saturday 15 November.

The information day will take place from 10:00 until 17:00 and will allow visitors to explore The Croft development and see all that it has to offer residents. Importantly, Larkfleet’s sales team will be on hand throughout the day to talk people through its popular part exchange and assisted move options that have helped many homebuyers who were struggling to sell their existing home make the move to The Croft.

The part exchange scheme has proved especially popular as it is offered at full market value. There is no price differential required between the price of the property that buyers are selling and the one they are looking to purchase at The Croft.

Also open to visitors on Saturday 15 November will be a new viewhome that will showcase a one-bedroom apartment which offers stylish living for those looking to downsize. For those looking for a little more room, The Croft also offers two-bedroom apartments, as well as two and three bedroom chalet bungalows.

Larkfleet’s ‘assisted move’ scheme can be tailored to suit individual buyers and involves Larkfleet organising valuations for a buyer’s existing property from two local estate agents. When a current market value is agreed, Larkfleet can then manage the selling process, right through to the exchange of contracts.

Larkfleet will liaise with the agents, advertise the home and negotiate with prospective purchasers. On completion of the sale of the existing home and the purchase of a new home at The Croft, Larkfleet will even cover any estate agents’ fees.

Margaret Pearce, a resident at The Croft, was able to part exchange her old bungalow for a new property at The Croft.

She said “I was so pleased when I was able to buy the property thanks to the schemes available; everything just seemed to fall into place as though it was meant to be. I didn’t want to continue living where I was but I might have had to, if I hadn’t found this development and been able to utilise the offers available.”

The Croft comprises 75 one, two and three bedroom homes, including bungalows, set around attractively landscaped gardens. It offers high quality living for the over 55s, perfect for those who want independent, stylish yet secure living.

The Croft has been developed as a joint venture by Larkfleet Homes (www.larkfleethomes.co.uk) and Keystone Developments (www.keystonedevelopments.co.uk).
