A recruitment drive has been launched in response to a surge in the demand for job candidates with IT experience.
Since the beginning of the year, independent agency Anne Corder Recruitment has seen a rise in the number of IT posts it has been asked to fill by a range of companies in the Peterborough area.  

The agency, based in Park Road and Lynchwood, is holding an open day on February 17, to identify suitable candidates for the vacancies. Recruitment partner Nel Woolcott said: “After a long spell of being very cautious about budgets a number of companies are now starting to invest both in equipment and people, which could explain why we have seen an increase in the number of IT-type jobs. We will be working with those companies to identify candidates who will be suitable for the roles.”
 
The agency is looking to fill a range of vacancies from IT helpdesk, second line support and desktop support to web developer and web designer roles.
