STUART HOUSE SEES THE LARGEST CITY CENTRE OFFICE LETTING IN PETERBOROUGH THIS YEAR

CIT, advised by Savills and LSH, has let more office space at Stuart House, New Road, Peterborough to the Land Registry in what will be the largest office letting agreed in the city centre this year. This follows earlier success in 2012 at the development with lettings to Serco and Yealand Administration.

The Land Registry has agreed to take a total of 21,938 sq ft (2,038 sq m) on the ground, first, second and third floors on a new 10-year lease.

Stuart House comprises grade A prime office accommodation varying in size from 3,530 sq ft (328 sq m) upwards. Located in Peterborough’s city centre, the scheme benefits from easy access to local amenities and strong transport links by rail and road.

Richard Saul from CIT says: “We are delighted to welcome the Land Registry to Stuart House and believe their decision to locate to the building acts as testament to the quality of the accommodation”.

Paul Farrow, director at Savills Peterborough, adds: “It’s great to see continuing activity in the Peterborough letting market and with demand remaining steady, we expect this trend to continue into 2013.”

The Land Registry was represented by Bidwells.
