Bondholders Roythornes Solicitors are undertaking a survey into the use of social media in the workplace. Despite social media blurring the lines between work and home life for many employees, some employers have yet to put in place measures to police or control the use of social media by their employees.

Whether using company computers to access their Facebook page, or posting comments about their day at work, employees are interacting with social media and employers need to be aware of this and the potential issues that can arise.

The short six question survey aims to provide a ‘snapshot’ of what firms are doing to tackle the issue and whether they are aware of their on-line presence. The report will be freely available once all responses have been collated. The survey is open until 30th October.
