RESIDENT RECEIVES £1,000 FROM LARKFLEET HOMES AFTER RECOMMENDING BOURNE DEVELOPMENT TO FRIEND

A lucky resident at The Croft (www.thecroftbourne.co.uk), an age-exclusive community in Bourne for those aged 55 years and over, has been given £1,000 for recommending the development to a friend.

Larkfleet Homes (www.larkfleethomes.co.uk) runs a reward scheme which pays £1,000 to a resident of any of its developments who recommends the same development to a friend or family member if that recommendation results in a sale. What’s more, the friend or family member also gets a £1,000 voucher to spend in Larkfleet’s Just for You Centre which provides extras to personalise a new home such as alternative taps, extra sockets, fireplaces, carpets, curtains or light fittings.

There is no limit to the number of successful recommendations so Larkfleet residents could benefit from the reward scheme several times over.

Mavis Wilson moved from the nearby village of Langtoft to The Croft in September last year and is already enjoying the freedom the development gives her. She said: “The Croft really is conveniently located to the centre of Bourne. I rarely drive anywhere now as many local amenities are so close they are in easy walking distance. I have a daughter and grandchild in Bourne so visiting them and other friends is very easy.

“I didn’t have the worry of renovating or refurbishing my property at The Croft as it was brand new. I knew I could move straight in and enjoy my new home from the first moment – I didn’t need to worry about touching up any wear and tear that you get with second-hand properties.”

The friend to whom Mavis Wilson recommended the development has now moved in at The Croft and also enjoys the secure environment and independent lifestyle the development offers.

The Croft, developed by Larkfleet Homes and Keystone Developments (www.keystonedevelopments.co.uk), consists of 68 one and two-bedroom bungalows and two and three-bedroom chalets arranged around attractively landscaped courtyards.

As part of The Croft development, an existing manor house located on site has been restored to its former glory and will act as the ‘hub’ of the retirement community. The renovated manor house also has a two-bedroom apartment available to homebuyers.

The Croft is being marketed as not only a place to live but as a community of like-minded people who enjoy a lifestyle full of possibilities. Homeowners at The Croft will be able to live the life they want to lead, in a secure and caring environment.

Karl Hick, managing director of Larkfleet Homes, said: “It was a pleasure to present Mrs Wilson with a cheque for £1,000. It is important to us to maintain our high levels of quality building and customer service so that our residents are confident in recommending Larkfleet properties to friends and family.”
