Rawlinsons staff support Volunteering Week for local charities

The team from city accountancy firm Rawlinsons is being given the opportunity to take a paid day out of the office to help local charities as part of the company’s commitment to community volunteering.

A number of projects at chosen charities have been earmarked for assistance including sorting household goods donated by the public at Carezone; helping create space for gym activities at the YMCA Community Gym in Bretton; helping New Ark Play Association prepare for their summer festival; and supporting the NSPCC Service Centre in Fengate with basic marketing activity.

“This is a really great initiative and has been well supported by staff,” said Rawlinsons partner Ken Craig “The idea flowed from our 75th anniversary activities last year when staff got involved in volunteering work with local charities as part of our celebrations.  Everyone enjoyed the experience hence this latest initiative which we hope to repeat on an annual basis.”

Individuals can choose which project they wish to support and the activities take place between June 12-16.
