A baby boom among staff at Peterborough agency Anne Corder Recruitment has led to the introduction of three new team members.

Experienced PA Emma Plummer has been brought in to cover the maternity leave of Michaela Bryan who was herself drafted in to cover the maternity leave of a permanent staff member.

Emma has previous experience at a recruitment agency and is enjoying being back in an office environment after a spell running her own business.

Similarly, Ros Nyugi is standing in while the business support co-ordinator is on maternity leave. It was her persistence that landed her the role.

“I was working in an office near ACR and popped in regularly to see if they had any opportunities I might be interested in,” said Ros. “It’s fast paced which I love.”

The third new team member is Danielle Molyneux, who has taken on the permanent role of candidate specialist. Her administrative role also sees her overseeing ACR’s eco-policies.

“The variety and level of responsibility suits me perfectly,” said Danielle. “I’m enjoying being able to deliver personal service and develop my knowledge of recruitment.”

All three are now settling in to their roles at ACR’s Park Road office.

Anne Corder said: “The recruitment industry does tend to attract a high percentage of women. As such, we often find ourselves with members of staff taking maternity leave. However this is the first time we’ve had to employ maternity cover for the maternity cover!

“All three have different experience and backgrounds and are already injecting some refreshing ideas into the business.”
