One of the UK’s leading experts to help unravel the pensions maze at Rawlinsons annual seminar

ONE of the country’s leading award-winning pensions experts will be the guest speaker at city accountancy firm Rawlinsons’ annual seminar next month.

Malcolm McLean OBE, former chief executive of the Pensions Advisory Service, has appeared on BBC Breakfast; Radio 4’s Moneybox Live and Working Lunch. He will talk about public attitudes to pension saving, the changing pensions landscape, government policy and how it is likely to affect us all.

A former government pensions adviser, Malcolm was awarded the OBE for his services to the pensions industry. He has a reputation for stripping away the jargon and simplifying the issues surrounding the pensions sector.

The free event is being hosted by Rawlinsons P.I.P Limited, our joint venture company with Boolers, a Leicester based firm of pension and investment advisers. The seminar will also feature experts offering advice on pension year-end tax planning, an update on inheritance tax and how to utilise SSAS and SIPPs to their maximum benefit.

The event is being held at the Peterborough Marriott Hotel in Lynch Wood on Tuesday February 25 and registration starts at 5.15pm. Presentations will run from 5.30pm to 7.20pm and refreshments/canapés will be served afterwards with the opportunity for delegates to chat with the expert speakers.

If you would like to attend this ‘don’t miss’ event, please contact Joanna Bacon at Rawlinsons on 01733 568321 email her at joanna.bacon@rawlinsons.co.uk. Closing date for registrations is February 11 2014.
