Ketton-based marketing company OlsenMetrix Marketing has been shortlisted as a finalist in the prestigious Peterborough Regional PR and Media Awards 2016.

OlsenMetrix has been shortlisted in the category Communications Campaign of the Year for an ongoing campaign undertaken in partnership with its client the Larkfleet Group of Companies.

The fully integrated communications campaign included community involvement, conveying agreed key messages through media relations, leveraging awards entries, distributing email newsletters, managing and developing a website and running a series of events.

The entire campaign was based on achieving a set of measurable objectives set by the Larkfleet Group of Companies at the beginning of the year. It involved delivering on a marketing mix including business strategy implementation, content marketing, marketing communications and PR.

OlsenMetrix director Mike Holland said: “We are delighted to be shortlisted for this award. Larkfleet and OlsenMetrix have worked extremely hard on this communications campaign throughout the year and it’s great to receive peer recognition for our efforts.

“As at 31 October 2016 most targets for the year to 31 December 2016 had already been met or exceeded by our integrated multi-channel PR campaign delivered within the agreed budget.”

The campaign was supplemented by advertising and social media activities. Response and engagement are measured at individual company level within the group where they can be more directly linked to sales, rather than at group level. Additional measures of return on investment in communications at company level include total number of visitors to show homes and the ‘promotional cost per visitor’ for attracting them there.

Awards winners will be announced at a gala dinner hosted by Athene Communications at the Knight’s Chamber in the Peterborough Cathedral Precinct on Wednesday 7 December.
