NEXT PHASE OF LARKFLEET’S LEIGHFIELD PARK DEVELOPMENT BROUGHT FORWARD DUE TO HIGH DEMAND

Housebuilder Larkfleet Homes (www.larkfleethomes.co.uk) has been forced to bring forward the next phase of its Leighfield Park site in Oakham due to the high level of demand the development has received from homebuyers.

Leighfield Park is part of Oakham Heights, Larkfleet’s major urban expansion of Oakham, located on land between the Oakham bypass and Barleythorpe Road.

The Larkfleet sales team at Leighfield Park has enjoyed consistently high visitor levels since the site opened in 2012. Due to continuing sales, Larkfleet has now released 10 three-bedroom properties and 24 one and two-bedroom apartments for purchase, much earlier that it previously anticipated.

Two and three bedroom homes have proved the most popular property types on the site, so the provision of these additional 34 properties, starting at £114,995, should help further meet the local need.

Karl Hick, CEO of Larkfleet, said: “We are delighted that Leighfield Park has been so popular with homebuyers and it is always pleasing to see sites selling well. By bringing the availability of these 34 properties forward, Larkfleet is helping more local people find their ideal home at Leighfield Park.”

The overall development offers one, two, three, four and five bedroom properties for homebuyers looking for a stylish, traditional home that allows them to enjoy rural life while still benefiting from good transport links to surrounding towns and cities.

The government’s Help to Buy scheme, which allows homebuyers to potentially own 100 per cent of their new home with just a 75 per cent mortgage and 5 per cent deposit, is available on all properties at Leighfield Park, including the latest 34 released for sale.

All houses at Leighfield Park have solar PV (photovoltaic) panels fitted as standard so homebuyers can benefit from reduced energy bills and generate an income from selling their excess energy to the grid under the government’s Feed in Tariff scheme. The PV panels will produce electricity from daylight, generating useable power even on cloudy days.

Larkfleet provides allotment gardens for residents as part of the Leighfield Park development to encourage a sustainable lifestyle and community. There is also an electric car charging point on site for resident and public use.
