New head chef set to heat up the kitchen at Grow Kitchen + Bar

Grow Kitchen + Bar welcomes Pete Siswick to cook delicious, locally and ethically sourced home cooked food for business professionals and the local community of Peterborough.

As Pete joins Grow Kitchen + Bar he talks about his plans to make it a great place for business people in Peterborough to come for meetings or drop in when they are in the city and enjoy a delicious home cooked breakfast or lunch.

“I want to make Grow Kitchen + Bar Peterborough’s first dedicated business bistro where good food meets good business.”

Pete brings a wealth of knowledge and experience, a trained pastry chef with 14 years’ experience and 5 years’ as head chef working within hotels, rosette and gourmet restaurants. He loves to make desserts with home-made ice cream, soufflé and parfait being his particular favourites.

“I’ll be bringing in new menus responding to what people really want to eat. I want to make breakfast more of a feature as in my opinion, it really is the most important meal of the day! I’ll also be launching ‘fun themed Fridays’ starting with ‘build your own’ American hot dogs.”

Pete’s new menu includes a new deli sandwich bar where you can build your own baguette with fillings of your choice, but if you want a more filling lunch then you will find mouth-watering dishes like Summer Chicken Stew and creamy mash potato or a tasty Beef Lasagne.

Located on the top floor of the Allia Future Business Centre, Grow Kitchen + Bar is a great meet up space for the local community and business professionals of Peterborough, it’s ideal for breakfast and lunchtime meetings but also a great place to just grab a coffee and cake. If you’re coming for meeting, stay for a macchiato, likewise come for a free workshop, and stay for freshly made soup. Our menu is all home cooked and ethically sourced and our coffees and teas are all Fairtrade.

The centre boasts inspiring surroundings, offers free superfast Wi-Fi, power, onsite parking and is minutes from the city centre so we welcome anyone to use it for informal meetings and as a drop-in co-working space.

Drop in and give it a try!

It’s open 8am – 3.30pm Monday to Friday. View w/c 8th May menu here.
