New appointment at Opportunity Peterborough

Opportunity Peterborough is pleased to announce the appointment of Tom Hennessy who joins the company as Senior Economic Development Manager.

Tom brings a wealth of economic experience having been employed for the last four years at Cambridgeshire County Council and also working within the Greater Cambridge Greater Peterborough Local Enterprise Partnership area.

Tom will strategically lead Opportunity Peterborough’s economic development and inward investment team to implement local business support initiatives and attract and convert new investment enquiries.

Commenting on his new position, Tom Hennessy said, “This is an exciting time for Peterborough. It’s already the UK’s fastest growing city and is delivering a variety of fantastic projects to boost local economic growth. I look forward to working with a broad range of stakeholders to support Peterborough’s growth aspirations and to take advantage of its great potential.”
