Richmond Green Energy, a leading firm in the renewable energy industry, recently celebrated the official opening of its Oundle-based head office. Local MP for Corby and East Northamptonshire, Tom Pursglove carried out the ribbon cutting ceremony.

Guy Chilvers, Director Richmond Green Energy commented: “It’s great to see our local MP so enthusiastic about renewable energy and what we are trying to achieve. The practical help Tom gives has opened doors for us.”

Commenting further on the industry and Richmond Green Energy, Guy said: “The renewable energy industry is an incredibly exciting space to be. Energy storage technology in particular has evolved rapidly. We are taking these advances, combining them with other renewable energy such as solar and developing exciting, innovative energy generation and storage solutions.”

Tom Pursglove MP heard how virtually any business can take advantage of these solutions to generate energy and income from assets like buildings and car parks. The potentially huge energy cost savings lead to further very real benefits such as maintaining and increasing employment.

Located in the Oundle Wharf Offices, Richmond Green Energy is one of several companies that have transformed the location into a successful commercial and leisure complex. After the opening ceremony and meeting with Mr Pursglove, Guy hosted the MP on a visit to some of the other Oundle Wharf businesses.
