East of England accountancy firm, Moore Thompson, has congratulated its Cloud Accounting Manager Dan Coleman on making the shortlist at this year’s Digital Accountancy Awards.
Recognising the very best talent in the growing field of digital accountancy, the judges at the awards, which are part of the Digital Accountancy Show, selected Dan from a field of more than 100 candidates to be named in the shortlist for the Best Rising Star category.
This award celebrates the up-and-coming professionals that are helping to lead the digital and technological change that is taking place within accountancy.
Dan Coleman is the man behind the vision that is MT Cloud – the dedicated cloud accounting service created by Moore Thompson.
He has been leading the charge in this newly created role by building a successful and effective service for a wide range of clients based on his ever-growing knowledge of software solutions.
His aim as an innovator is not just to offer tried and tested systems, but rather to find applications and automation that empowers businesses, increases efficiencies and alleviates stress.
Speaking about his shortlisting at the awards, Dan said: “While leading our team and grow our services in this area, I have also focused on being an educator for our clients and the wider profession, which I am glad the judges have recognised.
“It is a real honour to be recognised in this fast-growing field at such a prestigious show. I hope this will help highlight the benefits of using cloud accounting systems to companies, in particular the expertise we can offer at MT Cloud.”
He is now on the shortlist among 10 other finalists and will find out if he has won the title on 1 September at the Digital Accountancy Show
Mark Hildred, Managing Partner at Moore Thompson, said: “Dan is really passionate about cloud accounting and has done a lot of hard work to help us create a truly unique service, which offers our clients some of the best advice and innovations on the market. I would like to congratulate him and wish him the best of luck in the finals.”
