A Peterborough-based marketing communications company is hosting an evening of chocolate ‘heaven’ while helping to raise money for a local hospice.
Metrix Marketing (www.metrixmarketing.co.uk) is hosting a Callebaut Chocolate Tasting event at Thorpe Hall hospice to help raise funds for its £6 million appeal to improve quality of care for hospice patients.
The event will take place on Tuesday 14 May at 18:30 and start with a five-minute presentation from Kate Daimond who is one of the regional fundraisers at Thorpe Hall. This will be followed by a chocolate tasting experience and chocolate-themed quiz.
Mike Holland, managing director at Metrix Marketing, said: “We are privileged to be in a position to assist a good cause like Thorpe Hall hospice. And this event brings together two things quite close to my heart – quizzes and chocolate.
“This month also marks our first anniversary as Metrix Marketing so the chocolate tasting gives us the opportunity to celebrate that at the same time as helping to raise much needed funds for charity.”
Metrix Marketing was formerly Smye Holland Associates, a marketing communications company established in 1987. In May 2012 the company changed its name to Metrix Marketing to reflect the wider range of services it offers and its commitment to delivering real, measurable, results for its clients.
