Merit Skills Launches New Leadership and Management Programmes

Merit Skills is now providing learners and their employers with the opportunity to up their game in management efficiency and productivity, by learning new skills and gaining recognised qualifications.

New for 2017. Merit Skills are offering fixed course training programmes in Peterborough, and Apprenticeships at locations throughout the country in:

  • Level 2 Team Leadership
  • Level 3 Management
  • Level 5 Higher Management

All programmes are accredited by The Institute of Leadership and Management, part of City & Guilds, and are available as funded apprenticeships, subject to eligibility.

These generic programmes are suitable for all sectors, with our training experts offering a range of sector knowledge from Retail and Customer Service to Engineering and Manufacturing, in SME’s to large companies.

Recently added to our Leadership and Management series is a Level 4 Diploma programme in Project Management, accredited by EAL. This is an integrated qualification in Project Management, which includes both technical knowledge and practical competence. The requirements for the qualification have been set at Level 4, and are aligned to the same level of demand as that of the first year of a degree.

This qualification covers the Principles of Project Management across sectors, for projects of varying sizes and complexity. It is suitable for:

  • Learners wishing to embark on a career as a Project Manager
  • Learners who are already employed in Project Management but with no professional qualification.

Subject to numbers of learners, all programmes can be run as in-company learning and development programmes, specific to client requirements.
