Major pension changes: Rawlinsons seminar looks behind the headlines

HUGE changes to the way we can all draw down our pension funds will be introduced in April – but what are the implications and how can we be sure that we are doing the right thing?

City accountants Rawlinsons will be running a free seminar to explain how the changes could affect everyone and how to ensure you make the most of this opportunity.

“To listen to the headlines you would think it is a ‘free for all’ in terms of what people can do with their pensions from April – but that simply isn’t the whole story,” said Richard Borrington, an independent financial planner with Rawlinsons P.I.P Limited and an expert on pension planning.

“There are a number of crucial issues you need to consider and it is important to understand the legislation implications moving forward,” he added.

Also speaking at the seminar will be Rawlinsons partner Julie Bloodworth who specialises in Inheritance Tax and Estate Planning. She will provide a comprehensive update on IHT and estate planning issues including how to use the pension changes within an Inheritance Tax planning strategy.

The event is being held at The Holiday Inn West in Peterborough on Wednesday February 11. Registration is free of charge and open to everyone. The seminar will begin at 5.15pm. Refreshments will be served afterwards.

To book a place at the seminar please email Joanna.bacon@rawlinsons.co.uk by February 4 or call Joanna on 01733 568321.
