Peterborough law firm Buckles Solicitors LLP has been recognised as ‘One to Watch’ in the Sunday Times’ best companies to work for list, at its first attempt.

Buckles has been an Investors in People employer since 2001 and last year decided to enter the prestigious Sunday Times survey which recognises top companies across the UK.

The survey assesses performance in all areas of the workplace with individual staff surveyed confidentially on subjects around leadership, management, personal growth, wellbeing, team spirit, giving something back to society, employee engagement and how happy employees are.

Jennie Oliver, Buckles’ HR Director, said: “We are extremely proud to receive the ‘One to Watch’ accreditation on our first attempt. It recognises the hard work to ensure that our employees feel engaged and play a key role in our success.

“In the last 12 months we have undertaken initiatives including a free onsite staff gym, invested heavily in training and development and hosted various social events. It’s great to see that the staff value this and enjoy working for the company.”
