LARKFLEET TO STAGE ‘PART EXCHANGE’ WEEKEND EVENTS IN PETERBOROUGH AND OAKHAM

Housebuilder and developer Larkfleet Homes (www.larkfleethomes.co.uk) will show homebuyers caught in a ‘chain’ how it can help them to secure a quality new home during a special weekend on Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 October.

Larkfleet’s ‘part exchange’ weekend events will take place at its Parson’s Prospect development in Peterborough and its Leighfield Park development in Oakham. The events aim to provide homebuyers who are looking to purchase a property, but are struggling to sell their current home, the chance to speak to advisors about Larkfleet’s ‘Ezy-exchange’ scheme.

With Ezy-exchange, Larkfleet could take a buyer’s existing home in part-exchange for a new Larkfleet home. The scheme means that the purchaser is not caught in a ‘chain’ of buyers and sellers and there are no estate agents’ fees for selling the existing property.

With Larkfleet’s Ezy-exchange, homebuyers could use their current property to get the new home they want.

Karl Hick, Larkfleet’s managing director, commented:  “At Larkfleet, we understand how stressful moving home can be, especially in the current climate when the pressure of maintaining a buyers ‘chain’ is heightened. We are delighted to offer the Ezy-exchange scheme as a way of giving a ‘helping hand’ to potential homebuyers.

“I would urge anyone looking to purchase a property with a home still to sell to visit our Parson’s Prospect development in Peterborough or Leighfield Park in Oakham on Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 October and find out how Ezy-exchange could work for them.”

Leighfield Park is the first phase of Oakham Heights, Larkfleet’s major urban expansion of Oakham, located on land between the Oakham bypass and Barleythorpe Road, and offers traditionally-styled two, three, four and five-bedroom properties starting from £143,995.

The development is aimed at families looking for a stylish, traditional home that allows them to enjoy rural life while still benefiting from good transport links to surrounding towns and cities.

All 143 properties at Leighfield Park will have solar PV (photovoltaic) panels fitted as standard so homebuyers can benefit from reduced energy bills. The PV panels will produce electricity from daylight, generating useable power even on cloudy days. Larkfleet will also provide allotments for residents at the current market value to encourage a sustainable lifestyle and community.

Larkfleet Homes’ Parson’s Prospect development off Thorney Road in Eye village is only two miles from the city of Peterborough. Situated on the edge of the Cambridgeshire Fen landscape, Parson’s Prospect offers everything from two-bedroom starter homes to three, four and five-bedroom family homes.

Larkfleet has a single property for sale on Peterborough Road in Crowland that is also available as part of its ‘Ezy-exchange’ scheme. The spacious five-bedroom detached house offers two en-suite bedrooms, a double garage, separate utility room and extensive enclosed garden.
