Lincolnshire-based renewable energy company Larkfleet Renewables (www.larkfleetrenewables.co.uk) has sponsored The Business Club (www.the-businessclub.org/peterborough) annual golf tournament at Greetham Valley Golf Club.
Business Club members and their guests enjoyed a BBQ before tee-off and a glass of bubbly when they got back to the ‘19th hole’. The day was rounded off with a three-course dinner.
The day got underway with a ‘shot gun’ start, in which all players teed-off at the same time but at different holes. This meant that they all finished together in time to enjoy the dinner and prize giving.
Ian Greenfield of Larkfleet Renewables said: “As a local company focused on sustainable building and renewable energy products we are delighted to be able to work with The Business Club to help spread the sustainable message among its members and to help Peterborough towards becoming the UK’s environment capital.
“The Business Club is a great organisation that helps support local business and Larkfleet Renewables is pleased to continue to help support it.”
Business Club founder Brian Soanes added: “We are delighted that Larkfleet Renewables agreed to sponsor the golf tournament this year. We have worked with them on other local business events such as the Business Focus Exhibition. Working closely with companies like Larkfleet Renewables can help create a better workplace by educating companies on what resources are available to help develop sustainable businesses.”
