The Croft (www.thecroftbourne.co.uk), an exclusive retirement community in Bourne developed by Larkfleet Homes (www.larkfleethomes.co.uk) and Keystone Developments (www.keystonedevelopments.co.uk) for those aged 55 years and over, will host a week-long programme of hobby classes on site for potential homebuyers.

The events will take place from 15 to 20 October and aim to promote the strong community ethos of the development. Residents at The Croft and anyone interested in purchasing an age-exclusive property – as well as family members assisting in the search – are welcome to take part completely free of charge.

Flower arranging, dance and art classes, as well as wine and cheese tasting and a history talk about Bourne will be held during the activity week. There is a class scheduled for every day of the week (Monday to Friday) and each will last approximately one hour.

To ensure no one misses out, Larkfleet is repeating many of the classes held during the week on Saturday 20 October.

As part of The Croft development, an existing manor house located on site has been restored to its former glory and will act as the ‘hub’ of the retirement community. The manor house will also hold the daily classes as part of Larkfleet’s activity week in October.

The Croft consists of 68 one and two-bedroom bungalows and two and three-bedroom chalets arranged around attractively landscaped courtyards. The renovated manor house also has a two-bedroom apartment available to homebuyers.
