LARKFLEET HOMES’ LINCOLNSHIRE DEVELOPMENTS TO SUPPORT CANCER CHARITY IN WORLD’S BIGGEST COFFEE MORNING EVENT

Larkfleet Homes (www.larkfleethomes.co.uk), part of the Larkfleet Group (www.larkfleetgroup.co.uk), is taking part in the ‘World’s Biggest Coffee Morning’ (http://coffee.macmillan.org.uk) on Friday 27 September – Macmillan Cancer Support’s biggest fundraising event.

The ‘World’s Biggest Coffee Morning’ encourages businesses and individuals from all over the UK – and sometimes further afield – to hold an informal coffee morning where donations are made to the charity in exchange for a cup of coffee.

Sales offices at Larkfleet’s Abbeyfields and The Croft developments in Bourne and The Coppice in Deeping St James will each host a coffee morning on 27 September as part of the national fundraising event.

Larkfleet’s sales offices at its Leighfield Park development in Oakham will also take part.

Last year, Macmillan Cancer Support’s ‘World’s Biggest Coffee Morning’ raised just under £15 million.

Karl Hick, managing director of Larkfleet Homes, said: “Macmillan Cancer Support provides medical, emotional, practical and financial support for cancer sufferers and their families and Larkfleet is delighted to take part in the ‘World’s Biggest Coffee Morning’ event to try and raise as much money as possible for this cause.

“I would urge anyone in Bourne or Deeping St James on 27 September to visit The Croft, The Coppice or Abbeyfields sales offices for a cup of coffee in exchange for a small donation and be part of something that can really make a difference to those whose lives are affected by cancer.”

Abbeyfields, located on the old Co-op site on Manning Road in Bourne, comprises two and three bedroom properties.

Properties at Abbeyfields are perfect not only for first-time buyers but also for buyers who are looking to downsize and young families looking for a high quality new home.

The Coppice development – located on the Orchard Field site in Deeping St James – is offering 12 two and three-bedroom properties for sale as part of the second phase of the development.

Solar photovoltaic (PV) panels will be fitted to every property constructed as part of the second phase of The Coppice so homebuyers can benefit from reduced energy bills as well as generating additional revenue from the government’s Feed in Tariff. The PV panels will produce electricity from daylight, generating useable power even on cloudy days. Selected plots will also benefit from solar photovoltaic (PV) panels at Abbeyfields.

The government’s Help to Buy scheme is available at both The Coppice and Abbeyfields so homebuyers could potentially own 100 per cent of a new home with just a 75 per cent mortgage and 5 per cent deposit.

With the new scheme, after homebuyers have provided a five per cent deposit and obtained a conventional mortgage for just 75 per cent of the purchase price, they will receive an equity loan from the government for the remaining 20 per cent (subject to approval). The equity loan is interest free for five years and can be repaid at any time or on the sale of the home.

The Croft (www.thecroftbourne.co.uk) is an exclusive lifestyle living community in Bourne developed by Larkfleet and Keystone Developments for those aged 55 years and over.

The Croft development consists of 69 one and two-bedroom bungalows and two and three-bedroom chalets arranged around attractively landscaped courtyards.

As part of the development, a historic manor house has been restored to its former glory and stylishly refurbished to form a communal ‘hub’ for residents. The manor house on site has already hosted a variety of activities for residents and local people in its stylish communal facilities. There is a full schedule of community events planned throughout 2013 and homeowners at The Croft are already organising their own community groups and clubs.

The sales team at The Croft understands that different homebuyers’ financial circumstances are varied so it has developed a range of finance schemes and options which can be tailored to suit individual buyers.
