LARKFLEET HOMES LAUNCHES THIRD PHASE OF THE COPPICE DEVELOPMENT IN DEEPING ST JAMES

Bourne-based housebuilder Larkfleet Homes (www.larkfleethomes.co.uk) has launched the third phase of The Coppice, its popular Deeping St James development.

The Coppice originally provided 32 affordable properties for local people in its first phase of development. As part of phase two, Larkfleet made 12 additional two and three-bedroom properties available for sale.

To further meet the need for high quality housing in the area – especially for first-time buyers – Larkfleet has now launched phase three which comprises nine more two, three and four-bedroom properties.

The Coppice has proved very popular with homebuyers and some of the properties launched as part of the third phase have already been reserved off-plan.

The government’s Help to Buy scheme, which allows homebuyers to potentially own 100 per cent of their new home with just a 75 per cent mortgage and 5 per cent deposit, is available on homes at The Coppice, including the phase three properties recently released.

Homebuyers using Help to Buy receive an equity loan from the government for the 20 per cent of the property value not covered by their deposit and mortgage. The equity loan is interest-free for five years and can be repaid at any time or on the sale of the home.

Solar photovoltatic (PV) panels are fitted to every property constructed at The Coppice so homebuyers can benefit from reduced energy bills. The PV panels will produce electricity from daylight, generating useable power even on cloudy days.

Karl Hick, CEO of Larkfleet, said: “The addition of these properties to The Coppice development will provide quality homes that are also energy-efficient, meeting the demand for housing in the local area. Deeping St James is an extremely sought-after location and the popularity of the development has demonstrated this. I would urge any first-time buyers looking for that first step on to the housing ladder to visit our sales office at The Coppice – they may find they could own their own home for less than they expect.”

The Coppice not only allows first-time buyers a chance to get a foot on the property ladder but it also provides local jobs as Larkfleet utilises local labour and product supply chains.

The Coppice is ideally situated between Peterborough, Stamford and Spalding – all of which are approximately twenty minutes drive away by car.

The development is being marketed by Rosedale Property Agents. For more information on The Coppice please visit www.larkfleethomes.co.uk to download an online brochure or call 07826 914344.
