Larkfleet Homes’ Cambridgeshire Developments To Support Cancer Charity In World’s Biggest Coffee Morning Event

Larkfleet Homes (www.larkfleethomes.co.uk), part of the Larkfleet Group (www.larkfleetgroup.co.uk), is taking part in the ‘World’s Biggest Coffee Morning’ on Friday 28 September – Macmillan Cancer Support’s biggest fundraising event.
The ‘World’s Biggest Coffee Morning’ encourages businesses and individuals from all over the UK – and sometimes further afield – to hold an informal coffee morning, where donations are made to the charity in exchange for a cup of coffee.
Larkfleet’s Parson’s Prospect development in Eye, near Peterborough and Spinney House, an age-exclusive retirement development in Yaxley, will both host a coffee morning on 28 September at the development sales offices as part of the national fundraising event.
Larkfleet’s sales offices at its Leighfield Park development in Oakham and Abbeyfields and The Croft developments in Bourne will also take part.
Last year, Macmillan Cancer Support’s ‘World’s Biggest Coffee Morning’ raised over 10 million pounds.
Karl Hick, managing director of Larkfleet Homes, said: “Macmillan Cancer Support provides medical, emotional, practical and financial support for cancer sufferers and their families and Larkfleet is delighted to take part in the ‘World’s Biggest Coffee Morning’ event to try and raise as much money as possible for this cause.

“I would urge anyone in the Peterborough area on 28 September to visit the Parson’s Prospect or Spinney House sales offices for a cup of coffee in exchange for a small donation and be part of something that can really make a difference to those whose lives are affected by cancer.”

Larkfleet Homes’ Parson’s Prospect development off Thorney Road in the traditional village of Eye is only two miles from the city of Peterborough. Situated on the edge of the Cambridgeshire Fen landscape, Parson’s Prospect offers everything from two-bedroom starter homes to three, four and five-bedroom family homes. It is the perfect location for those travelling into London on a daily basis.

Larkfleet Homes is currently offering buyers on phase two of the Eye development the option of photovoltaic panels (PV) that produce energy from daylight.

Spinney House is situated on Chapel Street in Yaxley and consists of 14 one and two-bedroom duplex apartments, with lift access to all two-bedroom apartments.

The development has quiet, attractive grounds complete with outside patio and seating areas. The site also includes plenty of existing mature trees and Larkfleet will provide shared allotments and cycle storage within the grounds for residents of the apartments.
