LARKFLEET GROUP RAISES FUNDS FOR NSPCC WITH GOLF DAY FOR EMPLOYEES AND CLIENTS

Housebuilder and development company Larkfleet Group (www.larkfleetgroup.co.uk) raised over £1,000 for charity when it mixed business with pleasure at its annual golf day at Greetham Valley Golf Club.

The event raised £1,070 for the NSPCC Peterborough Business Support Groupto benefit vulnerable local children and young people.

The NSPCC Peterborough Business Support Group is made up of individuals from a range of industries and sectors who use their influence, skills and commitment to raise funds to directly support NSPCC services in and around Peterborough.

As well as raising funds for charity, the Larkfleet golf day provided a sporting day for hard-working employees and offered great opportunities to network with clients. Some impressive scores were recorded throughout the day.

An evening meal – when prizes were presented to the winning team – completed the event.

Larkfleet Group managing director Karl Hick commented: “I am delighted that we raised such an impressive sum of money which will go to a worthy cause.

“What’s more, the golf day was a great way to build on client and customer relations as well as thanking employees for their hard work over the past year.”

This is not the first time Larkfleet has raised money for the NSPCC Peterborough Business Support Group. It has supported many fundraising events over the past 12 months, including the Strictly Glitz event at the Holiday Inn West in Peterborough in May and an NSPCC fundraising cycling event around Rutland Water near Oakham
