LARKFLEET GROUP BOOSTS PLANNING TEAM WITH NEW APPOINTMENT

Bourne-based housebuilder and development organisation Larkfleet Group (www.larkfleetgroup.co.uk) has welcomed new associate director of strategic projects, Tim Slater, to its planning team.

In his new role Tim will be responsible for the processes involved in gaining planning permission for flagship company Larkfleet Homes’ (www.larkfleethomes.co.uk) new housing sites. He will also manage colleagues within the Larkfleet planning team to ensure the planning process consistently runs smoothly.

Before joining Larkfleet, Tim gained extensive experience in both local authority and large consultancy planning teams. Most recently, he owned his own business, 3D Planning, through which he continued to build on this knowledge and expertise of the planning process working for several local authorities and a large national housebuilder.

Tim has 20 years experience as a town planner as well as a degree in town and country planning and a diploma in management studies.

He commented: “I am delighted to head up the planning team at Larkfleet Homes. There is a wealth of knowledge already within this successful team and I hope that the experience I can bring will boost this even further.”

Karl Hick, Larkfleet’s managing director, commented: “Larkfleet works in partnership with many local authorities so Tim’s impressive expertise in the planning field and his experience working alongside local authorities will be especially useful to the company.”

Tim lives in Peterborough and is married with two children. In his spare time, he enjoys cycling and walking and also has a great interest in classic motorcycles.
