Manpower is proud to be working on behalf of a successful business based just outside of the Peterborough Area. Our client is looking for Brand Manager to join their existing team. They are looking to interview for this position at the beginning of February.

Job Description: 
Looking for a Brand Manager to take responsibility for how our expanding brand is perceived by our readers and to extend its reach.

The site has become increasingly successful in recent years and is now visited – on mobile and desktop – by more than two million people every month. This is an exceptional opportunity for the right candidate.

We’re looking for a driven individual to develop the brand’s identity and to plan and implement the external marketing and communications strategy for the business.

Reporting to the Editorial Director you will be required to deliver an effective marketing strategy both online and offline to drive brand awareness and maximise commercial opportunities.

The Brand Manager will work closely with the wider team to monitor trends and how our products are being used to ensure that we are not only delivering a coherent, clear message in our communication, but also identifying the touch points where were should be contacting our readers.

Your role will encompass a wide range of competencies and you will have to prove that you’re flexible enough to take responsibility for communications, pr, events, advertising, loyalty & social and be directed at our consumers and the trade. You are accountable for these functions.
We hold several large events each year – including a large awards ceremony – and it will be your responsibility to ensure that as well as being packed with dazzling detail and innovative touches, it’s well run – to tight deadlines – and keeps to its budget.

As well as the in-house team, you work closely with outside agencies and contractors on projects and are confident tendering, pitching and managing them to achieve the results expected by the senior management team.

Full of ideas, the Brand Manager is constantly thinking about new ideas for getting our message across to consumers and partners in clever, innovative ways. You’re a self-starter who’s comfortable working on your own as you are in a small, dynamic team. You make things happen and inspire others to do the same.

You embrace variety and not daunted by planning for simultaneous projects with differing lead times. You are as confident taking the lead of our annual awards ceremony as you are producing analysis and taking my client into new markets. You also have a natural flair for collaboration and working with others, which means you are determined to develop relationships with other media brands to extend my clients reach.
Ideally, you will be a degree holder with at least five years marketing experience ideally in digital publishing.

*Have good presentation skills.
