Peterborough-based international HR Consulting firm, IPM Global Mobility, narrowly missed the top slot in the international ‘Expatriate Management and Mobility Awards’ (EMMAs) run by The Forum for Expatriate Management.
The award-winning firm, which provides independent specialist HR planning and management services for organisations employing expatriates from offices in Lynch Wood in Peterborough, London, Aberdeen and Copenhagen, was announced runner-up of the ‘Relocation Management Company of the Year (under 10,000 moves a year)’ award category at a glittering Awards ceremony at the Lancaster Hotel in London on 7th November 2014. Earlier this year the Company won the Re:locate Best Service Provider or Team Award.
IPM’s Managing Director, Alan Bentley, told us, “We are delighted to have reached the finals, it’s a great tribute to our team of specialists who work incredibly hard to give the best service possible. The EMMAs are independently judged by some of the most highly respected professionals in the industry, so the fact that we have been awarded runner-up position from a shortlist of 8 organisations is a great accolade. We’ll continue to build our business to meet the needs of organisations that employ people overseas and will do so in a way that continues to build our reputation as a quality service provider.”
IPM impressed the judges with their effective and efficient use of resources while managing overseas assignments and by demonstrating how they took steps to meet and improve their clients’ business requirements.
The Expatriate Management and Mobility Awards (EMMA Awards) take place in three regions throughout the year (Americas, APAC & EMEA). With over 20 categories covering a full range of achievements and innovations within the industry, including ‘Outstanding Contribution to Global Mobility’, these awards showcase the sheer quality of the global mobility industry.
