Informal Networking Evening

Wednesday 15 October 2014
5.00-7.30pm

Park Inn by Radisson
Telephone House
Wentworth Street
Peterborough
PE1 1DH

No other membership organisation gives you more opportunities to get connected with business people across Cambridgeshire every month – for free.

Our popular informal networking evenings continue to attract businesses of all sizes from a wide range of industry sectors and, most importantly, they’re completely free to attend.

If you’ve never been to an informal networking evening before and are wondering what the benefits are and who you can expect to meet, why not watch our great video online here.

Your company doesn’t need to be a member of the Chamber to take advantage of this great opportunity to make new business connections – anyone is welcome to join us from 5.00pm.

Simply buy yourself a drink from the bar and join other business people for an informal chat about your company and what you do. It’s a relaxed but effective way to learn more about the local business community and make new connections.

Ask the Expert
This event will include an opportunity to meet a member of the Chambers’ Communications Sector committee who will be on hand to answer your questions and offer expert advice.

Sara Drawwater, Director at Something Beckons, specialises in showing SMEs how to communicate successfully online. Come and talk to Sara about how to improve your website’s performance and how to successfully integrate social media, including Google+, Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, into your business, teams and communication.

Simon Atack, Managing Director of Ace Tech Training, a recognised training centre for the Institute of Sales and Marketing Management is a specialist in Sales and Business Development. Come and talk to Simon about how you can improve your Sales process, increase customer engagement and retention, maximise your lead opportunities and close more deals.

You will also meet members of Chamber staff so if your company is considering joining the Chamber, it’s a great opportunity to ask about the benefits of membership and discover what you can expect to gain from joining our growing network of Chamber members.

If you would like to know more please call Helen Bosett, the Chambers’ Sector Co-ordinator, on 01733 370809 or email h.bosett@cambscci.co.uk.
