Young Peterborough footballers will sport a smart new kit this season thanks to sponsorship from the Indesit Company Factory Graded Centre.

Staff at the Centre, which is located in Morley Way, Peterborough, are strengthening their ties with the Peterborough community by sponsoring Werrington Athletic U11 Reds.

The junior team, which was recommended to Centre Manager Richard Allen by one of the Centre’s employees, will now wear new kits and training tops during the 2013/14 season.

The team play in Peterborough and District Junior Alliance Charter Standard League and finished third in Division Two last season. They also won their Division’s U10’s Respect and Fair Play award.

Mr Allen said: “Indesit Company has a strong history with the Peterborough community and we wanted to continue this support by sponsoring Werrington Athletic U11 Reds. The boys all look very smart in the new kit and we hope to see great results on the pitch this season.”

Werrington Athletic U11 Reds are unbeaten in their first two games, with a win and a draw.

The kits were supplied by Chromasport & Trophies, based in Wulfric Square, Peterborough.
