Hegarty Solicitors marathon walk exceeds fundraising target

A team of walkers from Hegarty Solicitors have exceeded their target of raising £2000 for local charity For Rutland.
Walkers completed the 34 mile marathon walk on Saturday in around 10 hours, starting at the Hegarty Solicitors Peterborough office and ending at the Hegarty Solicitors office in Oakham, with a quick pit stop in Stamford.
The monies raised will go towards much needed funds for local charity For Rutland to provide an adviser at Rutland Citizens Advice. The adviser offers free, confidential and impartial advice to local people affected by cancer, dementia, strokes and other long term health conditions.
