Free registration for your company’s services on the new online Peterborough Care Directory

Peterborough City Council is launching a new online care directory featuring local companies which will help people in the city choose the services they need to help them lead a full and independent life.

Local companies are being urged to register their company’s details on www.peterboroughcaredirectory.org.uk before the directory is launched to the public later in March.

Services range from home care providers to mobile hairdressers, from handymen to home visiting opticians and from to providers of aids and adaptations to local care homes.

You can view a special three minute online film clip which explains what the directory will be used for and how people will benefit.

Peterborough Care Directory will become the main source of information for carers, members of the public and families to find support services. Historically an annual paper-based community care directory, the new online directory means improved access and up-to-date information on services available for people looking for social care and support. People without internet access can call 01733 747474 who will search services for them.

Adding details to the directory is easy and free – companies control the information and can update it as and when required.

If your company provides any of the services below, or you have a service that does not fit these categories but you think would be beneficial to people looking for care and support, register your details by visiting www.peterboroughcaredirectory.org.uk and click ‘Supplier Registration’. Complete your details as instructed and assign your service to one or more of the categories listed, remembering to click ‘Update Live Site’ when you have finished and following any changes.
