Food Business Breakfast launched

A major business networking event for the food sector has been announced by Solicitors Roythornes.

The Food Business Breakfast takes place on 27th November in Peterborough and has been developed with the aim of bringing together the firms in the region who work in the food sector, from producers to machinery suppliers and professional services.

Speaking about the event, Partner Peter Bennett said:

“The food sector is one of the most important in the region, with some estimates putting its value at around £7bn. We realised that there was not really a forum where businesses involved in the sector could get together and share contacts and ideas, so we decided to launch the Food Business Breakfast.”

Roythornes works for a number of food companies in the region and across the UK.

Peter continued:

“We hope that companies will use the opportunity to get together to make new contacts and develop their businesses.”

Guest speaker at the event will be Andy Fawkes, Managing Director of Masteroast Coffee, a food success story based in Peterborough.  He will be talking about his business and the market in which he operates.

Peter concluded:

“We hope businesses take advantage of the opportunity –  the food sector is vibrant and innovative and we hope to do our part to maintain its importance in the region.”
