“I was there, when The Posh beat Man City and made the FA Cup Quarter Finals”

Can you imagine if Posh prevail? The “I was there” story will surely be told to generations to come. Picture the magical night of 1st March 2022, when Peterborough United welcome Premier League Champions Manchester City in the fifth round of the Emirates FA Cup.

How can you be in with a chance to join in this historic event whilst supporting Anna’s Hope, an amazing local charity? Well, your Chambers of Commerce are raffling four tickets in the hospitality stand, with seats on the halfway line and an amazing view.

Peterborough United last took on Manchester City in a fifth round tie in February 1981 when they were in the fourth division, making this FA Cup tie game arguably the most important game in living memory for the team.

As a season ticket holder, the Cambridgeshire Chambers of Commerce have decided to celebrate this momentous occasion by making its tickets for the game available to businesses in the Cambridgeshire area. The Chambers will raffle their four hospitality tickets and will donate all profits to Anna’s Hope, the Chamber Charity of the Year.

Carole Hughes, Co-Founder of Anna’s Hope, said: “’Brain Tumours are the biggest cancer killer of children in the UK and for those who survive their lives can be significantly compromised. Anna’s Hope helps these children with a brain tumour reach their full potential through pioneering specialist neuro rehabilitation by the Anna’s Hope Therapy team who provide Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech and language therapy.

“Every penny donated to Anna’s Hope goes to supporting children with a brain tumour and £150 will fund five specialist therapy sessions for a child.”

Vic Annells, Chief Executive of Cambridgeshire Chambers of Commerce, said: “The Chambers are delighted to be able to offer four tickets to this FA Cup tie with proceeds going to our Charity of the Year.”
