Homebuyers that reserve a Larkfleet Homes (www.larkfleethomes.co.uk) property on 14 February – or any time in the following week – will be given a special opportunity to personalise their new home as a one-off Valentine’s gift from the housebuilder.
For each house reserved during Valentine’s week, Larkfleet will give buyers a cheque to the value of £1,400 to spend in its ‘Just for You’ centre. Homebuyers can then enjoy adding that ‘personal touch’ to their quality new home.
Whether Larkfleet customers are looking for alternative taps, extra sockets, fireplaces, carpets, curtains, light fittings or even conservatories, the company’s ‘Just for You’ centre could provide these extras.
Larkfleet managing director, Karl Hick, said: “Larkfleet understands that each homebuyer is different and many would like the opportunity to make their new home as individual as they are. With this Valentine’s offer, homebuyers can gain a helping hand in really making their new home their own, before they even move in.”
Larkfleet could also help homebuyers cut the cost of home purchase as it currently offers the government’s NewBuy and FirstBuy schemes on some of its developments.
NewBuy is a government-backed ‘mortgage indemnity’ scheme that aims to help people with smaller deposits buy a new-build home. NewBuy allows homebuyers to get a mortgage with a deposit of as little as five per cent of the purchase price. The lenders participating in the scheme will then provide a mortgage of up to 95 per cent of the purchase price if homebuyers meet their qualifying criteria.
FirstBuy is a ‘shared equity’ arrangement where the government and the builder provide a loan (interest free for five years) to cover up to 20 per cent of the purchase price. Homebuyers then have to contribute a deposit of just 5 per cent.
Larkfleet Homes has several developments across the East Midlands and East of England including Bourne (Lincolnshire), Peterborough (Cambridgeshire) and Oakham (Rutland) which offer plenty of choice for those looking to purchase a home.
Larkfleet’s Abbeyfields development is located on the old Co-op site on Spalding Road in Bourne, Lincolnshire, and comprises two and three-bedroom properties with prices starting at just £124,995.
Leighfield Park is the first phase of Oakham Heights, Larkfleet’s major urban expansion of Oakham, located on land between the Oakham bypass and Barleythorpe Road. The development currently offers traditionally-styled three, four and five-bedroom properties starting from £184,995.
All 143 properties at Leighfield Park will have solar PV (photovoltaic) panels fitted as standard so homebuyers can benefit from reduced energy bills. The PV panels will produce electricity from daylight, generating useable power even on cloudy days. Larkfleet will also provide allotment gardens for residents to encourage a sustainable lifestyle and community.
Larkfleet Homes’ Parson’s Prospect development off Thorney Road in Eye village is only two miles from the city of Peterborough. Situated on the edge of the Cambridgeshire Fen landscape, work is soon to begin on phase three of the development which will offer a variety of starter and family homes.
