If you haven’t heard of Damien Hirst and Jeff Koons, where have you been? If you have, you’ll know that the chance to see their sketches is rare, particularly in Peterborough.
So from now until the end of July, you can view in our lovely Gallery, Art in the Heart, one signed sketch by Damien Hirst and two sketches by Jeff Koons. These are two of the most famous living international artists at the moment and of course you guessed it…they have both caused outrage. Hirst pickles animals (dead of course) like sharks and cows and likes installations which involve picnic table and chairs with rotting meat everywhere and flies swarming over it. Jeff Koons…well… all that needs to be said is that his wife was a porn star. The sketches are of flowers however. We are also selling the sketches and they are an investment. In our view they can only gain value. We look forward to seeing you
