A sustainable business strategy is no longer optional, not just because it can help to save the planet, but because businesses are likely to suffer without a clear plan in place.
Greenwash will not cut the mustard. Customers, suppliers and increasingly employees are looking for organisations to demonstrate their sustainable credentials
But what is a sustainability strategy, where do you start and how do you shape that plan?
Anthony Gough from PECT and Investors in the Environment outlines the key areas your plan should include. He will also introduce you to the tools to support you on your sustainability journey and how to get your efforts recognised through accreditation.
Galia Wells from PWC will explore the role that SME's have to play in achieving Net Zero and how to adopt the right mindset and culture in your organisation.
We are also joined by Helga Kendall from Peterborough City Council. Helga is responsible for developing the Council's sustainable procurement policy. Whilst developing the plans, PCC is keen to engage and work with SME's to develop a fair and responsible policy. This is your chance to influence plans and get one step ahead in getting on those preferred supplier lists.
