The Circular Economy is gaining attention from established global companies and new start-ups. Buzzwords such as Resource Efficiency, Industrial Symbiosis and Cradle to Cradle appear in business articles and government policies.

It’s a new approach to how we make, use and consume products, across all market sectors, using systems thinking and designing out waste. Circular approaches apply to industrial and consumer sectors, including technology, transport and food. Product design, material selection, business models and value chains are all affected – it’s much more than increased recycling.
