This popular, free of charge event, will be presented by Rawlinsons partner Julie Bloodworth – who specialises in estate planning, wills and inheritance tax, and is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners. The seminar will help you to ensure your relatives benefit from the inheritance you want them to receive and at the same time protect your assets for the next generation.  Topics will include:

• What you need to consider when writing a will
• How you can secure your assets by using trusts
• What you need to do to obtain the £1m main residence nil rate band
• A brief guide to Lasting Power of Attorneys

Julie will also be joined by our pension expert, Richard Borrington, who will discuss how a pension continues to be one of the most tax efficient vehicles for both building up wealth and passing it on to your loved ones.  He will also provide an update on the current investment market.

Registration for the event will commence at 12 noon, with the presentation running between 12.15pm and 1.15pm, after which a buffet lunch and refreshments will be provided to allow for further discussion.
