Peterborough SportsAid was formed in 2004, focusing on giving youngsters aged 12 to 18, or all ages for disabled sport to help with costs such as travel, training, accommodation competition fees and equipment. Since 2004 Peterborough SportsAid has awarded grants in excess of £100,000 to over 200 young sportspeople and from over 30 sports – athletics to water skiing. Having recently stepped down as the England Selector, his views on current matters on and off the field are eagerly anticipated.
Geoff Miller’s playing career was with Derbyshire, Essex, Natal and England. He played 34 Test Matches; 25 One Day Internationals; and went on 7 overseas Tours. He scored over 14,000 runs; was captain of Derbyshire and Vice-Captain of England; took over 1000 wickets and held over 300 catches. From 2008 – 2013 he was a National Selector for the England Cricket team.
