At Opportunity Peterborough we recognise that, as a new business, it can be daunting trying to find your way through the maze of business support available while you’re so focussed on getting your business off the ground.

That’s why we’ve teamed up with some local partners to deliver the New Business Network. The Network provides free, impartial support to help your business get established and grow and meets once a month for a chance to get together, share thoughts and hear from experts on topics that are key to your business. We will be covering topics like how to access grants and other forms of funding, business planning support, marketing, what’s available in the city in terms of resources and support, and more.

This month, with thanks to Allia, we’re very proud to be in our new home of the Future Business Centre Peterborough (At the Peterborough United Football Stadium).

We’ll hear from some new businesses; why they started up, what’s gone well for them, what hasn’t gone so well and what their future plans are – as well as the chance to network with other new businesses over coffee and cookies and for you to help us shape the network by telling us what you want to hear at future events.
