The title for the exhibition was created from collaborative meetings which explored past, current and future inspirations. We decided as a group that all artists had got to a point in their practice where there had been a period of regrouping and new inspirations, ideas and methods needed to come to the fore both artistically and spiritually. The new bodies of work will be the product of this new energy and inspiration (the Light), the absorption and assimilation of that energy (The Prism) and the production of new expression through works of art (The Rainbow). The Private View is being sponsored by Active Property Contractors, specialist in insurance work (flood fire and damage).

You can also buy a ticket in the gallery or book over the phone on 07910 118148. For more information email info@artintheheart.co.uk or consult our website www.artintheheart.co.uk.

The Private View marks the start of the official public 3 week Summer Exhibition from Saturday 27th June-Sunday 12th July which is part of the Peterborough Artists’ Open Studios, a 15 year old network of artists and craftspeople who open their homes and studios every year for free for the general public.
