In November 2015 Peterborough declared it’s aspiration to become the UK’s first circular city. Over 65 organisations met at the Allia Future Business Centre to understand how Peterborough can apply a circular economy approach at a city wide level.
Since then, Peterborough DNA and our partners Forum for the Future have worked tirelessly on pulling together the outputs from those workshops. On the 1st March, we will come together again to co-create a Circular Peterborough manifesto and to develop four demonstrator projects to be delivered in the city to help us achieve our vision.
The demonstrator projects will be focused on four key sectors: built environment, water, food and manufacturing. We welcome any businesses from these industries to join us and take part in this exciting initiative.
