Dates(s) - 08/03/2017 - 08/03/2017 10:30 - 13:00
Peterborough Cathedral, Minster Precincts, Peterborough, PE1 1XS

Join us for this prestigious event at Peterborough Cathedral, with inspiring speakers, a debate and networking to celebrate International Women’s Day.  International Women’s Day is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women.

The aim of the event is to raise the profile of issues that are central to career development for female colleagues at both a local and national level and have the opportunity to share experiences in a supportive environment.

Opening the event will be keynote speaker Dame Mary Archer DBE who will share her own experiences and challenges faced during her career. Dame Mary has had a varied career in the world of Science, and is currently chair of the trustees of the National Science Museum Group. From a local level we will hear from Anna Lee, Supplier Quality Manager at Caterpillar, who leads a global team ensuring quality components are received from Caterpillar’s supply base.

During light refreshments we will debate the International Women’s Day theme ‘Be Bold for Change’ and take time to consider our own ambition or aspiration and
barriers faced as women.

The event is being held in partnership with Peterborough Cathedral.

Places are to be booked in advance: cost to Chamber members is £20.00 (plus VAT) and £27.00 (plus VAT) non-Chamber members.
