Business Resilience Forums bring together supplier and industry experts for networking, knowledge sharing and insights on current resilience issues facing business owners, continuity managers and facilities professionals.

DSM Continuity is hosting this free half day event on Wednesday 27 April in association with Risk Centric and British Institute of Facilities Managers.  Presentation topics are:

  • Close Protection – Ted Allen, Heathmount International Ltd
  • 3 lines of defence framework for Continuity & Resilience – Kate Ackroyd, Yorkshire Building Society
  • Crisis Scenario Exercises – the low risk way to evaluate high risk situations – Colin Lowe, Thomas Cook
  • We’ve been hacked – now what?   Phil Cobley, Regional Cyber Crime Unit, Beds Police

Additionally, in the afternoon there will be an interactive workshop led by Chris Needham Bennett entitled ‘A bad day in Manchester.’ This will be a highly participative exercise to illustrate the vulnerability of any large conurbation to low grade terrorist attack. It allows all participants to determine options and actions in the light of an unfolding scenario that is equally relevant to the public and private sector.

The event starts with registration and breakfast from 8.30am, to book your place now visit https://business-resilience-forum-spring-2016.eventbrite.co.uk  or call 03333 221100.
