Beverley Gaynor, Senior Project Manager: Growth & Regeneration, Peterborough City Council

Beverley recently joined the Growth and Regeneration team at Peterborough City Council and will be presenting an update on their city centre regeneration plans.

 

Lee Mawby Principal, Greater Peterborough UTC
Lee will provide an insightful update of the UTC journey - from where the programme began, its growing national influence, and the direction it is now heading. With government attention increasing and Policy Exchange recently recognising the successes of the UTC movement.
 
Sonia Rogers, Careers Coordinator, Greater Peterborough UTC
Sonia who leads on careers strategy and employer engagement, will present the latest updates on the Gatsby Benchmarks and Modern Work Experience and what they mean for local businesses.
 
Charlie Cook, GCSE and A‑Level Business Lead, Greater Peterborough UTC
Charlie, will demonstrate what an effective business project looks like and highlight the opportunities for employers to get involved. He will explain how collaborating with industry ensures students learn the essential skills, behaviours and commercial awareness needed in today’s business landscape.

 

Following the presentations there will be the opportunity to have a short tour of the college.
